One of the best slide shows I have seen in a while. The leader is just awesome. Good work with matching quality.

I came across this guy and thought his portfolio was pretty amazing and very diverse in terms of style.

Nice Pics

There is nudity in his collection though so if you're offended don't look. Some really amazing photos in each category.

What incredible shots. Thanks for directing us there.

The light capture in some of those is unbelieveable. I'd like to know how much postprocessing is going on though. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but the light is so incredible. I'd like to know the secret.

That's what I was thinking. I would love to know how these were created.

Amazing work! Thanks for the link Pits! I wanted to pick a shot for my wallpaper, but couldn't decide. I'll have to go through them again!

Weird. I don't find the shot in the first post very intriguing at all. It seems too artificial to me. I guess that what keeps entries at DPC from ever getting into the 9s in average score...differences of opinion!

Excellent links. Thanks for posting.

I must say that i am always attracted to photo or paintings with loads of colour, and these are no different. They are so appealing. Thanks for sharing.

However this picture was produced [mainly camera and technique or post processing] it is a wonder photograph that I could look at everyday. Since this photograph is not mine I will keep my feeling about it to myself however I will tell you it moves me in ways many photographs can̢۪t with or without words. If the photographer happens upon this thread I would like to say you have capture a rare natural beauty that only can be captured in a spilt second that many of us will find hard to achieve because of it̢۪s rarity. Congratulations on an excellent photograph that I believe people will be amazed with for years to come.

I just read the entire last thread he posted in. Sad to see DPC folks chased him off, he probably could have offered a lot of insight and instruction.

Part (or all) of the problem is that almost nowhere in the world is a score of 5 average...It took me a week of looking at excellent images and average scores and so on to realize the way that voting on this site works.

Don't get me wrong, I like 5 being average as it allows a lot of room either way but it seems 'not-quite-right' at first...

Edit: And I would also like to know what was done to make this photo and some of the others.

I've seen some incredible photos that involved beautiful colours and little or no post-processing other than crop, contrast, etc. (basic editing, if you will)...

Someone could e-mail him and ask him to submit more photos. He does seem a little tempermental. Must be the artist in him. I really enjoyed looking at his photos (but not the ones on dpc). Maybe he needs a second try.

Looks like someone did just that a couple of months before this thread was started:

"CJ, I just found your name on //www.dpchallenge.com and I am wondering when you'll start participating in the challenges again. I absolutely love your photography and would enjoy seeing even more of your pictures!"

(Found here: //www.pbase.com/cjmorgan/photoaday2004)
