Terje completes his first year here at DPC on the 29th of this month. What a contribution this young man has made I will try to explain. His technique is very well grounded. He belongs with the new breed that are indeed making themselves felt such as imagineer, smokeditor, BradP, Scalvert, etc, etc.

A haunting image that is silky smooth and able to caress any soul is his, "Amazing silence."

He has proceeded to end all the busted light bulb shots with his lights out. The technique here is impeccable and the presentation awesome. Can this be topped? Everything can, but my what difficulty awaits the soul to tackle this. I certainly accept it that this is the ultimate expression in this site of syop motion and bulb.

He then proceeded to do a kiwi shot that left me speechless because of the beauty and abstract look of the image.

He does not stop exploiting this theme. Look at lemonheads what a feat in Basic editing with the classical and the abstract side by side. Solar explosion is another with that abstract touch.

I have met Terje and he is a compulsive picture taker. He loves the art and his aspirations drive him ever forward. Another image is, "Split personality."

I invite you to peruse his port. I think you will benefit more by visiting rather than by me selecting images. Go visit and look and I am sure that even the most expert will leave satisfied and inspired.

I like the landscapes, but I am waitng for the smashing series to get moving. Perhaps a baseball bat through a watermelon? capturing the spray of fine melon mist with impeccable detail and sharpness? I'm waiting.

I still remember the envy of browsing through the photos Terje shot with Graphicfunk in NYC.

Yeah, Terje's portfolio here is really great, but it's his website that really bowls me over. A seemingly endless array of simply terrific stuff.

That's funny because Terje is my 'statistically highest favorite photographer' -- with an average vote from me of 7.25!

Terje is a rocking dude. I got to meet him in November when he came to visit me in Grand Falls. We drank a bunch of beers, played pool and played Xbox.

His work is really inspiring. Gotta go see him in Oslo one of these days.

This is deeply flattering. I feel there are so many real photographers that should have been listed here instead of me, I am just a beginner amature photographer, that hope to learn more and this site has been the ultimate resource to improve and understand photography better.

Thank you all for your kind words
