		| | Still not an active member but seeing the entries for the Deja Vu challenge I wish I was. //users.telenet.be/jerren/Filterlove.jpg
Only a few weeks ago I took a shot at the 'Red Filter Love' pic as a gift for my girlfriend. I know it's a bit cliché, but I think clichés are good as a lesson. Also the text on it wouldn't be on my challenge entry of course.
How do you think this pic would've done in the challenge?

PS: I'm starting "A Photo A Day" in 2005, so challenge entries will follow soon enough! ;-)

		| | My opinion is that your focus is too far back in this shot - it makes the words seen through the filter the true subject, rather than the shape made by it; and those words are too small to read at this resolution. Maybe it would work at a decent print size - depends what those words are.

		| | Good point, thanks for the comment. The words are readable on the print though. It's an old erotic novel.

		| | I like it a lot. It has a really nice "Old Times" feel about it, although I agree with Ed that the focus is slightly too far back, but it depends what you were aiming for :)
