I have a nikon D70 and I've been trying to clean the CCD with the copperhill method (pec pads + SensorSwipe) and I just can't seem to get rid of these:
So, my question is where exactly are those located on the CCD? I've heard that the CCD is backwards/inverted or something. I can't see the specks on it so I'm guessing where to sweep.
Thanks

It should be in the top right corner as you are facing the camera.
Are you sure they are not dead pixels, though?

Try taken some exposures at different f numbers, if it is junk on the CCD the spots will blur at the lower f numbers. They look too big to me to be dead pixels, there would have to be a number of them all together. |

They were dust alright. A little persistant effort removed them. However, I managed to aquire a few new specks in the process. lol. I'll try again tomorrow. Thanks guys.
