I tried to keep mine original but it`s backfired on me.
Score dropping rapidly and to rub salt in the wounds, I`ve had a validation request !!
Despite all that it`s been favourited twice ???

Top 10% (if I'm lucky) but more realisticly top 25% (compared to scores in fariy tales)

Gordon, if yours is the one I think it is, then I'm really surprised.
For myself, still only one comment, which is highly disappointing, epecially give the 25 I've made so far. Trouble with being confined to quarters for a few days, I suppose - nothing more constructive to do.

| I expect very high scores here, and the average to be above 6! Which is why I am not expecting to do very well overall with my score. I think a 7.333 should put you in the top 10 though. ;) |

I got DQ'd due to my own stupidity in placing my photo in the wrong challenge.
Kudo's to the committee for noticing this error.

Jeez I hope that happens to me. Both my Deja and Classy shots are hovering in total mediocrity at the 5.3-5.6 range. Sigh. And to think if they keep those scores, that will probably make them my second and third highest scored shots. I wish I was better at this. I don't think competition agrees with me!
To add, I was going to submit this as a tribute to this:
But I decided they weren't similar enough. Instead I decided to go with my initial entry. Now I'm kinda thinkin' I should've gone with the water shot!!

this seems like a high scoring challenge, most of the pictures are good and the subjects are ofcourse the best rated at dpc. I am hoping to make to make it to the top 50% |

Mine has climbed from an abysmal 3.75 very early on to 5.05 now. Glad to see it top 5 at least.

| I was getting excited with my 6.3 score until I read there are averages of 9+ ! Why is this challenge scoring so high ?? My average at the moment could get me in or near the top 10 in previous challenges. Can't complain though - this is my best average on only my 4th submission ! |

Composition: a 3? I'm not sure I quite understand this one. I placed the subject of interest on a thirds line, there's a limit to how much different from the original I could be.
Technical: 2. I chose the image I chose on purpose. It was MEANT to look the way it does.
Appeal: 1. Well, yeah, if you're talking about the subject itself.
Challenge: 3. Bullshit. I want this explained after the challenge is over. That's rubbish. I met the challenge. 10.
Anyways, that's how it's going.

I tried to get it as original as possible, but I'm just not good enough. Has been in a steady climb from 5.6 (while Classy has been in a steady decline from the same :-P) |

Well I am emailed you. You know where I am on this. *hugs* Just because some people are idiots doesnt mean that your photo is bad. its obvious they are voting the subject and not the actual photo.
