Greetings, Has anyone visited the Lakota Wolf Preserve in New Jersey? I was thinking about making a road trip over the holidays to do some photography there. Its $125 for a 75 minute guided photoshoot. Just wondering whether anyone has had good or bad experiences there, or any tips.

A friend of mine went years ago - he liked it, but wasn't much of a photographer, so I don't know how great it is for that. I'm less than an hour away, if you want a shooting buddy. PM me! A snowy day would be great, but I don't think we're going to get many of them.

I've been wanting to get there but haven't yet. I know of some people that went and got some really nice shots. I don't believe (could be wrong, though) that they paid the guided tour price. If you want more info, shoot me an email and I'll see if I can find out more for you...or get you in touch with them directly.

I've gone there, but did not pay for the photo shoot. I got some shots with lots of fences in them. You should do the guided photo shoot if you want really good pictures.

I live in NJ too and have wanted to go there for some time, but I think I'll wait for a really good snow, or until next fall with the colors. Right now it's just too grey and ......blah.

Thanks. I no sooner sent that question out when I got a telephone call to set up manpower for next week. Looks like we'll spend part of the holiday week evaluating seven new Mustang Convertibles. We should start mass production on them in March. Hopefully we can get through them in 3 days and I'll have the latter part of the week to Roadtrip.

I had looked into going there too.
I know someone who has gone but not for the photoshoot.
I think it costs $15. to get in and view them, but not sure how good it is.

Find out if they have group rates on the photo shoot, i think they do.

Yes, they do. The fifth person is free. I think you end up shooting through chainlink fence if you do the regular visit.
