wondering if people would have marked down for the tree in front.

Exposure seems off - the pic is dark overall and the white trim is blown out.

Here are mine. Nothing like my entry. Tell me what you think. Tacky? Classy? Interesting? Not?

I wasn't happy with this one and didn't enter the challenge. Wonder how you think I might have done with this if I had entered?

Yes, I think the tree is very distracting also. Was it as noticable in person when you took the shot?

I like the second one very well. The first seems to have less interest; the problem I think is the big area in the foreground just to the left of center where nothing is going on.

The darkened trees are a little distracting.

That's what I thought, too. (I'm referring to the little "Christmas trees" lining the driveway that aren't lit). Wonder why they didn't decorate them also? Might have run out of lights!

"Classy" set a high standard for me as far as the subject went, and I ended up not submitting because I didn't get any shots that presented any of the decorations as classy. After looking at about 1/4 of the entries, it looks like maybe most people's standard for what qualifies as "classy" is way lower than mine.
