I am Sam.

I am Sam.
Sam I am.

That Sam-I-am!
That Sam-I-am!
I do not like
that Sam-I-am!

Can you work that stupid cam?

I cannot work it Sam-I-Am.
I cannot work this stupid cam.

Is your tripod standing straight?

My tripod is not standing straight.
I cannot even set the date.
I cannot work this stupid cam.
I cannot work it Sam-I-Am.

Is your model lacking poise?
Is your ISO causing noise?

My model is not lacking poise.
My ISO's causing lots of noise.
My tripod is not standing straight
I cannot even set the date.
I cannot work this stupid cam.
I cannot work it Sam-I-Am.

Will it work with a softbox?
Can you set exposure locks?

Not with a box.
Not with the locks.
Not lacking poise.
Not from the noise.
My tripod is not standing straight.
I cannot even set the date.
I cannot work this stupid cam.
I cannot work it Sam-I-Am.

Would you? Could you?
From afar?
With long lenses!
Here they are.

I would not,
could not,
From afar.

You may get it.
You will see.
You may get it.
Set to "P."

I would not, could not set to "P."
Not from afar! You let me be.

It will not work with a softbox.
I cannot set exposure locks.
My model is not lacking poise.
My ISO's causing lots of noise.
My tripod is not standing straight.
I cannot even set the date.
I cannot work this stupid cam.
I cannot work it Sam-I-Am.

The drain! The drain!
The drain! The drain!
Is it from the power drain?

Not from the drain! Not set to "P!"
Not from afar! Sam! Let me be!

It will not work with a softbox.
I cannot set exposure locks.
MY model is not lacking poise.
My ISO's causing lots of noise.
My tripod is not standing straight.
I cannot even set the date.
I cannot work this stupid cam.
I cannot work it Sam-I-Am.

Say!
In the dark?
Here in the dark!
Will it focus in the dark?

It would not, could not,
In the dark.

Would you, could you, add some grain?

I would not, could not,
add some grain.
Not in the dark. Not from the drain.
Not from afar. Not set to "P."
I cannot work it, Sam, you see.
Not lacking poise. Not with a box.
Not from the noise. Not with the locks.
I cannot work this stupid cam.
I cannot work it Sam-I-Am!

You cannot work
that stupid cam?

I cannot
work it,
Sam-I-Am.

Could you clean your CCD?

I could not clean my CCD!

Could you focus manually?

I could not focus focus manually.
I will not clean my CCD.
I would not, could not, add some grain.
It was not from the power drain!
Not in the dark! Not set to "P!"
Not fram afar! You let me be!
It will not work with a softbox.
I cannot set exposure locks.
My model is not lacking poise.
My ISO's causing lots of noise.
My tripod is not standing straight.
I cannot even SET THE DATE!

I cannot work
this stupid cam.

I cannot work it,
Sam-I-Am.

You cannot work it.
So you say.
Read the manual!
And you may.
Read it and you may, I say.

Sam!
If you will let me be,
I will read it,
You will see.

Say!
I get this stupid cam!
I do! I get it, Sam-I-am!
And I can focus manually,
And I can clean my CCD...

And I would even add some grain
Shoot in the dark. Recharge from drain.
Zoom from afar. Shoot set to "P."
This cam is good, so good you see!

So I will shoot with a softbox.
And I will set exposure locks.
And I will show my model's poise.
And I will stop this ISO noise.
And I will set this tripod straight.
Say! I will even SET THE DATE!

I do so like
this lovely cam!
Thank you!
Thank you!
Sam-I-Am!

When Dr. Seuss wrote green eggs and ham, he was bet that he couldn't write a book using 50 words or less -- so the entire book used only 50 total words...just a bit of trivia for you all.

ROFL... I read that book to my 5yo girl for bedtime last night. I read the beginings and she completed the sentences or paragraphs. I love that book. We do it in all sorts of odd voices, accents, and characters. Sometimes I do it as Opera Man, clear the house!

I've never seen this photog version, haha, RTFM!
