Is it possible to type in special characters (e.g., letters with accents or similar things) in the titles for the challenge pictures? If yes, how would that be done?

have you tried using charmap in windows to copy/paste the special characters?

What is "charmap"?

I believe it works -- use the system utility Character Map (Windows) or KeyCaps (Mac) to find out the code for the character you want.

The code will be the Alt key with a four-digit number; on a Mac it will be the Option Key plus some other key, possibly also with the Shift Key as well.

Character Map is under Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools

KepCaps is under the Apple Menu (OS 9 and earlier)

Or you can write your title in a word processing package and then just copy/paste it in.

Got it. Thank you all. It works.

PS - not using it in a title this time :)
