After I put my pictures on the computer and start to view them, they are all much darker, and I need to use photoshop to increase the brightness. It's a pain in the butt to do it to every picture, and I was wondering if there was a reason for them turning darker when I transfer them to my computer.

Either your monitor is out of adjustment, or when you open the file the software you are using is applying a profile which is mis-matched to your monitor.

It's really hard to diagnose these problems more specifically unless you know what hardware, software, and OS are involved.

If you post an image with no brightness adjustements, we can tell you if it looks dark on ours.
