I haven't taken many bird photos, but today i went out and found these yellow birds :)...would love comments/critiques

1st one's very nice --- once you start with birds you get hooked... trust me...

What were the lens specifications and details for these I'd lke to know.

I used a Tamron 70-300mm...these were at 300mm handheld...

The first one just bowled me over, and I enjoyed all three. I would love to get captures like these - wonderful work done!

Very good photos, the birds look like Waxwings?

yes i looked them up and they are Waxwings

I would try to shoot from level height or from above the bird if possible.

From below makes it pretty snapshotty.

Everything else looks good though :D

i see what you mean...I thought about climbing the tree across from them...but i noticed poison ivy vines all around it :(

Hehe, good choice!

I sometimes get high where some trees are and wait with a big lens.
