Niagara Falls was illuminated in pink last for breast cancer research
My first night shot with the 20D.
30mm with 28-135 IS lense @ 1/2 sec Iso 1600 with IS off

My second attempt for a night shot of the Falls .Is it any better ?

Nice shots. In the first one, the falls look like they're illuminated from behind, but not in the second one.

That first shot is really beautiful. Great job.

I liked the second one much better.
I can't say for sure if it is the fact that the first one is farther from the fall or because of the monotoeous colors but I feel that the second one brings out more the power of those waters and it is just amazing.
