Well, I wanted to try something different for the holiday season... still trying to perfect the technique.
What do you think? |

Of the two I think the 2nd one is best by far. Not crazy about the 2-toned tree in #1. I think the second photo is a really good composition in it's own right, then the lighting and the long-exposure star trails really set it off. |

Very cool and happy to see you "playing"! I, too, like the second one the best!

The second one looks the best to me.
On a side note, why do people spend so much time shooting and working in photoshop, but won't take the 5 seconds to post what camera/shutter/iso/aperature, etc they used -- it really helps some people when you list those things to see how you got a desired effect.

Meh, I'm lazy, but if you ask nicely I'll be more than happy to add it. :) BTW, nothing was Photoshopped in these photos, I don't even have Photoshop right now as I am visiting hte parents for the holidays and borrowing the family computer. |

heh...didn't mean to single you out, sorry you took it that way. Just overall curious -- and if you wouldn't mind listing it, I would appreciate it and I'm sure others would too. It's nice to be able to see how someone got a certain effect.
Thanks, dave
