No question about that. I really think that should have been a stipulation in the rules. Way easier to do shot you have already done compared to duplicating someone elses photo. |
This would have been a perfect challlenge for the Invitational (no ribbon winners) challenge.

I cant belive anyone would copy theyr own entry that would just be lame
people need to try new stuff I think thats what this challenge is about,
I have a few pics that I would like to try out But I sure cant copy them I will have to try harder :D |

For a straight copy, yes. A parody or major twist on the theme could be fun, though. Several photographers have already entered multiple versions of the same shot in different challenges, so I don't see much difference if something new is added. |
