Here is an outake from this year's Xmas photos.

I've had this idea for a while, and took this opportunity to try a few shots with this theme. I think this one turned out pretty good. The first few were pretty static. Kids sitting all calmly, then I let them be themselves.

I'd love to get some opinions.

good one - it's bit on the warm side here at work ( speaking of the photo ;}.
kind of a reddish tinge to the skin.

It's a very nice photo. soup is right though, the skin tones have too much magenta.

Easy fix:
1. In the Levels dialog, choose the blue channel from the menu. For input levels, move the center slider to 0.85. Click OK.
2. Open the Hue/Saturation dialog. Select the red channel from the pull-down menu. Move the slider to -7. Click OK.

I tried your settings, and ended up with an image that was even more red cast than the one I started with. Perhaps I misinterpreted one of your steps.

Anyhow, I processed this image in the same style as the subject's actions: agressively. I used a LOMO action which pumps up contrast, saturation, as well as added a dark outer edge and brighter center. I thought it suited the image.

We thought of using it as our actual Xmas photo, but then I woke up. LOL!

Thanks for the comments.
