I find that I really like the effect that an inverted photo can give. I was playing around withthis and was wondering if anybody less thought it was cool. The only thing I am not sure about is the spotting effect I got in the background. What are your opinions.

Nice. The inversion works really well with this shot. The spotting doesn't bother me at all, but the bright white in the padlock loop is a bit overpowering.
The DoF is really nice on it too, though I may be tempted to soften the wood texture at the top to keep the focus on the lock.

I like it. It has a very cold feel to it. As for the modification. I like the edit better. I think that if you were to add a bit more definition to the inside of the loop to show where the lock and back ground seperate you would have it just right. Great shot.
