The paper finally put one of my James Brown shots online

James Brown - HAHCK!

Not a very dynamic shot, but it's a classic black and white.

I like it alot!

The title of your thread led me to think that something tragic had happened!! Haha! Glad to see that he was "shot" by you, NOT shot!

LOL sorry, I noticed the title after I hit "post" and reviewed the thread.

Nope, he's not shot, but he does have prostate cancer!

yea arnit's shots are great :-) they were posted in another thread..great stuff.

I had problems with my lens (which I'd never used before) so ended up with lots of slightly blurred shots, unfortunately. This shot was one of the only clear ones..I was bummed since it's a wee bland.

I've recovered now.

I like the shot. Bland or not (I don't really think so), you got photos of James Brown. What a buzz. Biggest name I've ever shot was Flava Flav, and that was back in the 80's!

I especially like the post about the Eastport community hall (you'd have to see it to appreciate the joke).

I thought you might get a kick out of that. :) Are you going to make it back to the Rock for Christmas Lori? (The Rock for the non-Newfoundlanders is not Alcatraz BTW.)

LOL spending Christmas in the Canadian prairies again this year unfortunately...maybe next year I'll grace NL with my presence.

I was HALF considering moving back there and just doing photography until I remembered that I'd never be able to shoot outdoors with the lack of good weather.

Funny you should say that. Who would have thought, the windiest place on the planet, and I can't get a frikken shot for the Wind challenge. DOH

People here think Medicine Hat is windy, pffffffffbbbt. I laugh at them all! I tell them average wind in Newfoundland peals the siding off your house!
