I don't know but it seems to only hapening to me. When i ask for comments i see people go look at the photos, and then i see no comments. Are my photos so crappy that they don't deserve any type of commentary?
It seems that everyone gets comments but not me.
I post on the threads telling people but it seems like it's not worth it.
Correct me if i'm wrong.
I seem like a little child that doesn't have attention with this thread! :)

Just the luck of the draw Frederico, depends who is on line at the time.
I have asked a few times lately, very few comments, so I don't bother anymore.
Keep your chin up and just enter the challenges,

Paul.

Hey Frederico I think your photos are great, don't get discouraged bc ppl don't post many comments. The most important part of a picture is knowing that you enjoy it, so don't so conerned about how others feel

I glanced at the last pair of images you posted but didn't comment because I'm terrible at both critiquing and creating landscapes. Toss a portrait up and I'll usually jump right on it (once work is done and the kids are in bed and... well you get the idea)

its how you ask the question
be direct like
** I know my photos arn't all that good but what can I do to improve it?

get people thinking
funny, nude and crap photos get the most comments

Everyone feels this way sometimes, Frederico. I know I do - it seems like sometimes when I post to a thread, it automatically ends it! However, since I'm MUCH older than you, it is easier for me to think to myself how silly that is and realize lots of things are in your mind rather than real.

This is such a busy time of year with people getting ready for Christmas and feeling stressed out with the whole Christmas and family thing that they don't have time to leave comments. Or, their minds are so occupied with so many things they can't think of anything to say.

Just remember - this is a normal way to feel - everyone feels like this sometimes. It's much harder when you're younger, you haven't had time to learn to accept that feeling of sometimes being ignored.

You are doing great with your photos - they get better and better. It won't be long before you win another ribbon!

Discraft- I'm one of the ones who may click but not comment. Usually the reason is that I don't feel qualified to give helpful advice. Other times I really don't have an opinion. Nothing personal, I do that to all the critique requests &:) (most of us do).

But it's never late to start commenting. Some day you'll have to start doing it. sometimes it's not only good to receive but to give to.

No doubt you are right. I do try to make comments in challenges that I score, but when someone goes to the trouble to ask for a critique, I get the impression that they are looking for a higher caliber of input than I feel qualified to give. I will give it a try, though, at your suggestion. Deal?

ok i left a comment for ya on your mountain pic - hopes it makes ya happy :)

Ah come on, how do you know what comments (if any) other people are getting unless you ask each and every user? lol

Personally, if I see someone asking for comments and I open the shotsand feel they're dull.. then I'll skip them. That's just me and my difference in taste.
