Hi everyone,
I've got some shots from a local gig taken on Thursday, not bad bearing in mind they're from my local pub!
Excellent music as well... Graham Garside is scary, in the style of Michael Hedges/ Preston Reed.
Comments appreciated!

What happens when you apply levels? They are very sharp for the seemingly low light. |

Nice shots Bob!! Especially like the first 2 images. Was the red the stage lighting.....it gives a lovely warm intimacy to the shots.

Bob - you've really outdone yourself on these. Very cool look and articulations.

Not quite sure what your question is... I didn't do a lot to these photos, they're pretty much straight out of the camera. If anyone is interested, I put all 500+ photos from that evening straight on this website: //www.SoundOfColour.com/20041209/
I just sharpened them all ever so slightly with a radius of 0.2
There were a few portable stage lights, one of them was red and I made the most of the limited effects from that particular lamp.
Thanks for the comments,
Bob

Usually I don't like the red light. It throws me into very negative associations.
Yet on these photos it didn't. I think they are really great!
My favorite one is the first, in which I can almost hear the music and smell the cigarettes in the pub!
The monotone colors blends wonderfully with the sharp details. Personally, I am not sure the mood I get from seeing those pictures is actually the one you were in during taking them, but that's what makes things interesting!
I will sure drop by your website later to see some more!
