I shot these at an indoor skate park. The lighting was incredibly low. I got some decent shots using the flash but a couple of times I took a shot before the flash had recharged and got some interesting results so I decided to try experimenting a bit with the slow shutter speeds.

I like these a lot myself and was wondering what others might make of them. All the blurring was done in camera and the post processing was pretty much just levels and saturation.

All comments and suggestions gratefully accepted.

I think they are pretty cool.

You might consider trying to correct the WB, at leats partially. I think the last two would especially benefit.

Thanks for the suggestion. Thats a great idea. I kind of liked the "Golden" appearnce but when I got them printed the last two looked a bit "off". Adjusting the white balance opens all sorts of possibilities. Thanks again.

I enjoy this style of photography, ya know some times things arent in focus at the time you view them

i have always preferred panning over blurred action so i like the last one the best. all of them are pretty cool though

I really like the 2nd one. But as suggested before, adjusting colours would make a huge difference. Also, you could try Hue adjustements on individual channels to keep the colours you want in the image, or remove what you don't need, to create the effect.

Thanks for the replies guys. I intend to take the suggestions onboard and tweak the images. The colours of the first and second one aren't that far from the actual colours on the day. The indoor area where they were shot was all made of wooden half-pipes and jumps that form the background of the image and was very poorly lit so the brown/gold tones were actually there, just no-where near as bright.

Spazmo or Xion I'd be interested in knowing a little more about what you would envision as to how the hues should shift to make it look more natural. Or anyone else for that matter. :)
