I was in Pisa for a business meeting and took the opportunity to see the leaning tower in the evening.
Wide angle with my Sony F707, the first one was corrected for perspective. Camera rested on a concrete pole, used self-timer.

Nice shots! I never got the chance to see the tower in the evening, and during the day there are too many people around to get a clear shot.
These look like they are taken streight from the Italy traveler's guide! Clear and with a very attractive lighting.
Especially I love the left one.
I wish they didn't put those bars on the bottom part of the building though... Makes it looke a bit funny leaning just from it's second floor and on...

Cool shots. You almost never see any images from Pisa that aren't shot during the day.
Jfredin, did you happen to climb on of the bell towers in Lucca to get a birdseye view of the city? Lucca is a gem! |

Beautiful. I'm going back in May to play tour guide for some college friends so I'll hope to come back with about 2,000 pics. |

The owner of Domino's wanted to build a cantilever tower that would look like it was leaning. He was gonna call it the leaning tower of pizza... |

No, this was it, walked between train station, hotel and tower, haven't seen anything else unfortunately. |

Yes, too bad all those monuments get restored, spoils our pictures, LOL.
They are trying to stop it from falling over as far as I know. |
