| I am what you would call a newbee to photography and have only been with the Dpchallenge for seven months now. I find the site wonderful for learning new ideas and techniques, not just from the photo's but from the forums and learning tutorials. I know there a lot of photographers that are much better then I am, but as for comments, I take them all with a grain of salt. I find in life that even the best of us at times can be wrong, or partial to curtain types of art, while on the other hand even a none photographer may offer an insight that everyone else may have missed. So, as for this sight, I us it stricky for new ways to look at things. I hope that we are not all getting to hung up on the score and comments, this site is too much fun and the people too interesting to get upset with what I think is the least important part of it, score. As for the original question I think the photo's are getting better, but that may just be becasue of all the people the site has attracked, which may tell you something, they wouldn't be here if the site sucked. |
