Cleaned my 1D MII sensor for the first time...

After almost 4000 shot and a trip to the Sahara, I cleaned my sensor for the first time using the Sensor Brush. Took me 3 tries, twice with the main brush and once with the touch-up brush.

Here are the results:

Good job man. I have to clean mine again. I use the Eclispe and swab thingie.

I was surprised at how easy and efficient the Sensor brush was in cleaning the sensor. Expensive but worth it...

I bought some Eclipse and a swab but I haven't tried it yet. Not enought dust to bother me...at least not until I go home to Victoria at Xmas and do some landscapes. Shooting at f/22 scares me now. ;).

Gotta tell ya, as nerve racking as it was for me to clean my sensor, I was so pleased with the ease of doing it (my shaking hand aside) and the relatively short amount of time it actually takes to complete the actual cleaning process. I used the CopperHill Images method (liquid/swipe).

But nothing made me happier than to see a clean sensor image. Good job on your cleaning Dr.Nick

Set the aperture at f/22and shot my ceiling.

just shoot at a wall with f/22 , dont need to be in focus
