Here's a good idea if you would like to combine your photographic life with your romantic life and you have a partner who is willing:
Propose to him or her that once a month you plan together, and implement, a photographic shoot where the two of you are the subjects of a romantic and/or love-making interlude, setting, story, situation. Together, plan the setting, props, clothing/costumes (or none), lighting, poses, etc (use your imagination!). Be daring and risque to the extent that your partner is willing. Different settings can be the bedroom (obviously...lol), sofa or loveseat, dining room, etc, or even outdoors. What is portrayed does not have to be sexual in nature, but can certainly include it if the two of you like and have the privacy.
You can set up a romantic meal at the dining room table with candlelight, exotic and romantic props, such as styles of different periods (eg victorian, Roman) with different costumes and hairdos. If you have time lapse on your camera then you can set it for say a shot a minute and take pics as you make love in any location you choose. Of course, you have to set up your camera on a tripod and have the necessary lighting.
To me, this is a great idea because your spouse is part of your passion for your hobby and you get to portray and photograph your passion for your lover. You get to play with both your photographic equipment and your lover at the same time. Seem to me a win/win situation.
Any ideas for shoots that you would like to set up with your partner?
