I haven't been following this lately--I got confused with all the animal projects.

If you don't have "Y", and if it's not a stretch, and if you really want dogs on this, we could use "Yellow Lab" for Y. But since I am doing a yellow lab shot for Dogs, if you find a better "Y", that's cool.

I also have a cockatiel, but I see "C" is taken too. (He's yelllow too.)

I have a couple really good polar bear shots from a week ago (taken in a zoo though.) But P is taken too.

No problem if you don't need anything.

We actually still need B. ould you be willing to use that?

Sure, we can list my Polar Bear as Bear.

In another thread I offered to shoot a Manatee. Please let me know if I'm "hired" as it will be quite an effort.

Thanks,

"N" will be difficult -- I suggest a Nudibranch (sea slug) in an aquarium, as it will be easier than tracking down a narwhal (Icelanders take note). Although, I have picture of a narwhal tusk somewhere ...

We have a few people who have signed up as back ups for M so if it is going to be a struggle or out of your way, thanks for the offer, but don't do the extra work. we've got it covered.

Awe Gee Wizz! I thought if someone offered you a great shot of a Manatee it would be interesting among the collections you/we have put together so far.Lots of birds, mamalas and reptile..but I jsut thought if someone in FL..was givemn a heads up they could get you a shot of a Manatee. But I asked that before you had a solid choice for "M". Hmmmm...what animal begins with a V..tough to even think of that one!

Oh we appreciate it hun but if they have to really go out of their way for it I would feel a little guilty. I don't want people really going out of their way for this. I'm just going to the pet store where I used to work and begging the manager to let me take some shots of the urchins in the sea tanks. Hope they say yes.

Here are some ideas for the letters still available:

J: Jackrabbit, Jaguar,
K: Kangaroo, Kiwi Bird, Koala
M: Monkey, Manatee, Mouse, Meerkat, Moose (we just want everyone to have a chance to be involved)
N: Nightingale, Newt
V: Vole, Vulture,
Y: Yak
Z: Zebra, Zebra Finches

So there are some ideas, any takers?
