I have only had my new 1d mk II a couple of days now and wondered if anyone else that owns one has noticed when looking thru the viewfinder and moving up and down within ISO settings have you noticed the simulation of grain that is overlaied within the viewfinder?

No it is not grain simulation, it is the focusing screen that`s giving you the "grainy appearance"
