Just wanted to draw you attention to a series of wonderful abstract photos. Shows how the simplest things can become fantastic when you apply imagination and talent. Good work Yura Socolov!



I cannot decide which I like best! Any opinions?

Great series! I think I might like #7 the best too, but #10 is also really neat. I love how he experimented with the different types of backgrounds and lighting.

BTW, the row number doesn't help anyone... notice that if you resize your browser window width, the thumbnails are shuffled around. :)

I think I'm leaning towards this:

as Arngrimur says, "Fantastic work. The DOF is perfect and the composition has a lot of rhythm. The tones and the simplicity are a feast for the aye."
It is the rhythm that draws my eye to this one.
ButI love the color in this one:

A CD was used for the background - no post processing!
For that matter - the colors in all of them are fantasticseeing as the subject is a simple gray metal!
