I'd be proud to represent Italy, hope there's place and enough time for me to do my best!

Voy a tratar. Solomente regreso a Venezuela (Guarenas) de un misionario, pero me gusta Maltin. Me gusta todo la comida Venezlana. Aunque problamente no puedo a tomar hallacas por delante de Customs (aduana?), voy a tratar. :-D

If we're doing provinces, I could do BC, Alberta or Ontario. (From BC, going to school in Alberta, girlfriend lives in Ontario and I visit (and will live there next summer) regularly).

I've listed you as a photographer for Alberta and BC, and as a backup for Ontario.

I've been living in South Korea for the past 3 years, expat South African, and will be here another at least 3 years. If okay by you, I volunteer to do South Korea.

I've listed you. You are the first for Italy, but this is not limited to one photographer per country.

Everyone who has volunteered to this point in the thread should be listed above. If I missed you, please let me know.

This is not limited to one photographer per country, so please feel free to sign up if you haven't already, even if your country is already listed!

I'll have a go I live in New South Wales, Australia.

When you say you can edit as much as you like does that include using things like phpto stitch and the like.

Yes. The result must look like a photograph. Please understand a panoramic might not fit into the combined layout well, though.

Just wondering if we can submit in any aspect ratio available on DPC Prints or if we should limit ourselves to certain types(i.e. 1.5:1, 3:2, 1:1, etc).
12/03/2004 09:41:18 PM · #63
Any aspect ratio is acceptable, though extremes (panoramics) may be difficult to work into the project.

How do we send in the images - what mechanism are we using ?
12/04/2004 06:43:37 PM · #66
In most cases, probably email to an address I will create for the purpose. I will provide an alternate means for anyone who cannot email a file that large.

Terry,
When you say cropping is allowed,I usually crop and alter the dpi up to 150dpi together, do we leave it at 72dpi or not?
I understand they are going to be poster size which is quite large or is that the finished page with a smaller "calender" type format ?
my concern is only the finshed quality being good enough,
rollock me if I am being stupid :)

Put me down for Belarus. I'd do Mongolia as well, but all of my pictures from the time I lived there were with an old Olympus D-500L, which had a grand total of 700k pixels. (Good pictures, but can't print them that big).

Hi Paul,

I'm not overly concerned about the nominal DPI as set in the file, as the file will ultimately be merged into the combined work. You can set the DPI to anything you like. Just don't do any resizing.

Thanks,
Terry

This pictures will be part of a combined work, so I may be able to use one of those Mongolia pictures. The individual images will not be very large. I'll put you down for Belarus and Mongolia.

I'll be more than happy to be backup/alternative for Arngrímur for Iceland.
Terry: What is the deadline? You should put that into the OP

The deadline has not been set. I'll add it as soon as it is, but it will be at least a couple months.

I am accepting multiple images per country, with a strong possibility I will use more than one per country. I'm adding you to Iceland now.
