How do I make my s7000 produce RAW files? Everything it produces is in Jpeg right now, even at 12mpf.

In the 'setup' menu, go down to 'CCD-RAW' and select 'on'.

Aww love you.

Right I'll go look for threads about converting in Pshop, I saw some around here somewhere.

Cheers!

for photoshop conversions, you should be able to use Adobe's raw converter i believe... i think the newest version has support for the RAW-capable point&shoots out there.

what kinda raw software does the fuji come with?

Ah it comes with Fuji picviewer or something, it's stupid though it asks you to register every 5 minutes. And it takes AAAAAAGES.

It comes with some POS RAW converter -- half the point in shooting RAW is so you can develop yourself and select WB settings and what not -- it doesn't let you choose anything and probably does the same 'processing' that the camera does with the image anyway...kinda pointless.
