| now my Rebel has been broke for 24 hours and my hands won't stop shakin'... what does it mean? |

Either you are afraid of the repairs bill, or you are suffering withdrawal symptoms.
Either way, the prognosis isn't good.

| WOW, how did you Rebel get broke? I hate to here that and I hope you get it fixed soon. I hope you have a backup camera because you take great pictures and would hate to see you sit out for a while. My guess is ‘rebel withdrawal’. |

No backup camera at this time. My old oly bit the dust shortly after I bought the Rebel. I can take shots using the computer to trigger the shutter and capture the image, but there are two pins bent in the card reader/writer slot. And your guess is probably right on. Anyone got a spare point and shoot they don't need for a little while? |

| broke pins or bent pins?... if there not too far bent over take the battery out and get yourself a magnifying glass, tweazers and some light ant lift the pins up untill there close to straight then ease your card back in slowly.. I believe you can fix this yourself |
