I took this shot of the Chicago skyline on my way to Las Vegas recently and adjusted it a bit in photoshop. Ive never had much luck with my camera from a plane, but this didn't turn out too bad, what do you think?

Very nice -- left you a comment on the photo. Unfortunately my only chance for aerial shots over Chicago (in 2001) was obscured by a
lightning storm.

Nice shot, you should contact the Chamber of Commerce or Tourist office and see if they want to buy it.

I think thats an awsome photo :) I have never managed anything decent from a plane. Its so hard to do. Even if I was to get something, it would usually have the wing in it or something. Good work.

Don't worry, the Dept of Homeland Security will be paying you a visit to compliment you on your photo AND help you redeem your free cavity search coupon.

Seriously tho, nice shot!

I took your advice and sent an email to the Chicago department of tourism with a link to the photo. Thanks!

Love the photo, love Chicago, love large urban, metropolitan shots! Should be in the travel section of books in Barnes & Noble.

Great photo, hope you manage to sell it on.

These are three I took about 10 years ago over Wiltshire, UK, using a Ricoh 35mm compact with zoom lens.

This is my plane window shot. It's Lake Michigan, just east of Chicago. The swirl is caused by whatever it is that flows out of the Chicago River into Lake Michigan.

Sigh, in the old days that would have been water ...

I think it's mostly silt/sediment.

The sewage is piped out offshore.
