Does anyone know if its possible to burn images to a disk directly from your camera without actually saving it to your HD? My burner will recognize the 10d as a drive but i cant drag and drop the images to burn. |

Probably not. Your computer most likely cannot read images from the camera fast enough to stream them to the CD at its write speed.

Most current burners support BurnProof or some other similar technology -- the speed of the drive the files are on shouldn't matter.

Yup, I am doing a data disk. I used Roxio and it worked just as if it was coming from a hard drive.
Normally I would put it on the hard drive frist but I can see where this could be handy from time to time. |

Roadstor is one of many of these burners that you can stick your card in and burn it to a cd or dvd depending on the model.
