Is the use of doutones in the basic editing legal? please responde as fast as you can pretty please. :)

Sorry to be bothering again but faidoi are you really sure, if not can anyone please help. i just want to be really sure of this. I'm not doubting of you faidoi but i just want to be really sure.

The way that I read the rules it should be legal if you are applying it to the whole image.

If the challenge is black and white, then I don't think there should be any duotones except for white and black.

Thanks aplomb76, i had the site council fill me on this because i really needed to know and they say Thumbs up on this at least if it's done on the whole image.

It depends on the method you use to get the duotone. There are many ways to get the achieved look and not all of them are legal. If you are using the duotone option in photoshop or equivalent then it should be fine. If you are painting in a new color layer and using blending options to get the desired effect it's not legal in basic editing.

nope i did the doutone option no layers where added in any of the changes i made so i think i'm fully legal by know! :)
