Took this tonight, but thought it would have looked good in the almost done B&W challenge. Mine is not doing well...better luck next time.

Ahhh! You expect us to vote and comment on ANOTHER B&W shot ;) no more no more!
Either way, I would have probably given this a six or a seven. It has a good range of tones and the dramatic side lighting works well. I also like the exposure.

I bet people would slam it down though cause of the subject |

I just wish people would simply skip over images where they don't like the subject matter.

Thank you all very much. The one I have in the challenge now does not have a very good range, that's why I thought this would have done much better. I appreciate your comments.

I usually vote down toilet shot. The reason why is because it's the first time in my life that I see a well done toilet shot. Worth a 7. congrats.

| I love the lighting and always appreciate when someone can take such a subject and make an awesome picture out of it. Probably would have given it a 7 or 8. |

Great lighting, gets 5 or 6 from me. Scored down because it's not horribly interesting or exciting...not simply because it's a toilet.

That would be close to a 7, but probably a six from me. The dramatic lighting highlights the shape of the toilet, which is interesting for such an everday object. My problem is the bright light on the brush in the corner, it draws my away from the subject (the toilet, right?).

No the subject is the brush, it is the one with the dirty job.

| I have to agree with Goldberry, I would have given it a 6. Good tones and different textures, but it is lacking a little bit of punch. |

Times like this I wish I could to alittle switch and trade out my photos that are in the challenge and the one that is not. Man, seems like everything I don't submit everyone loves, and everything I do seems to be just average.
