I am in real urgent need of a replacement tripod (current one now has only 2 legs - a bipod!)
I have been looking at the Manfrotto 190 Pro with a pistol grip ball head (model 322 - i think). I just wondered if anyone had experience of these two items.

I have 3021BPro legs and an Acratech ballhead - I could not be happier with the combination except when hiking. Then those tripod legs are a little long and a bit heavy. But I have to say they are worth the weight whenever I get where I am hiking to.

I have the 3001PRO legs and the 322RC2 grip ballhead. It rocks, but the legs are a bit on the spindly side when fully extended.
I just ordered the 3021Pro Legs with the 701 fluid head. Mostly to put under my new telescope, but I'm sure it will also see camera usage as well.
