I tried a search for this but was unsuccessful...
Is there a way taht we could make our portfolios easier to be browsed. This would be a way to click Previous or Next to get to the next photograph within a collection or portfolio. Even though I do not have dial-up, when I have been to places that use it, it becomes such a pain to keep on having to reload the original portfolio page in order to get to the next image. I think that this would just make viewing our portfolios a little easier. I am not sure about the coding on this one, so is it even possible to do with our portfolios?

Perhaps the easiest temporary workaround for this is to right-click (click&hold for Macs with 1-button mice) and open the image in a new window. It shouldn't take any longer for the new picture to load, and leaves the portfolio window open and waiting for you. |

I believe I mentioned this several months back. I would love to see this implemented.
While on the portfolio subject -- Is there a way to see which of your images are chosen as faves (non-challenge images)...without checking each image individually?

No, but it seems as though creating a page which lists all portfolio images in a table format (like the entries on the Profile page) "should" be possible. : )

Yes, that would be great. It wouldn't even have to show up on our profile page...maybe just a separate link to the portfolio images. Should be very easy to do since the code is practically identical to that of the challenge images.

This is definitely a feature I've requested more than once but with no response indicating whether or not it's made the list of definite future improvements...

I think the most important question is, why does the portfolio page have to reload every time you click 'Back' from an image page? It's the same annoying thing with all pages on DPC and, as a Firefox user at least, it puts me back at the top of the page when it reloads. |

You must have missed Terry's reply in this thread. Implementing such a feature requires some pretty involved coding (according to Terry's post), which is why it hasn't just been "whipped up real quick like". But rest assured, it is on the list of site suggestions because it has been requested like a bazillion times. |

Ok, thanks. I do use tabs, all the time, but I still like to be able to just use the back button. I've had to fight with caching and dynamic pages on web applications in the past and I know how difficult (impossible?) it is to get right. But I still wish it would just work... |

Just another portfolio thought. it probably has been mentioned before, but i was wondering: is there away of veiwing someone elses portfolio if they have nothing but challenge entries in there? not everyone adds stuff to their portfolio outside of the challenges, and if they don't, their profile page appears to be without a clickable link for veiwing their challenges, which would otherwise be included in their portfolio. |

The only way to do that currently is to click on each challenge entry individually. As stated above, this goes faster by opening each in it's own new window. |
