Help Helen Win a Dream Wedding

There are four couples going for this prize (an all expense paid wedding) and while all wonderful people (I saw them all on TV this morning) Helen and Dennis deserve this the most. Why? Well, because Helen is my friend to start with. ;)

Second, Helen is the Animal Shelter Director who should have put Juniper down, but didn't. Helen is the one who helped and spear head the campaign to turn the Elmira City Shelter into a No Kill Shelter. And Helen is a really wonderful, kind and generous woman who has always been there for me and now I want to do something special to help her. Dennis and Helen's picture is the one on the bottom left. You do have to register to vote because they are also giving away some other prizes to the voters. It's free, it's easy and they do not spam you, if you afraid they might, use your spam collecting email (everyone has one of those, right? :) )

Please, you can vote once a day so be sure to bookmark the page, I'll be sending reminders until voting is over and even is you live far away and win the prizes, you can always donate them back to Helen and Dennis as a wedding gift! ;)

Please, Helen has been instrumental, with Dennis's support, in saving so many animals in this area, educating the public and being a great friend, please help me get her the wedding she deserves and wants!

Oh and if they win, we get to vote on everything else too from the dress to the hairstyles! WOOT!

Well, I tried...they wouldn't let me register. Got a message to "Please use only appropriate language". Everything entered was exactly correct. I must be an inappropriate person.

Sorry!

"Voting will be remain open until Tuesday, November 23, 2004 at 11:59pm."

Got a few more days yet. :-)

I just voted. Don't recognize any of the couples. Been listening to this contest on 94 Rock though. Good luck to Helen.

I talked to Helen this morning, she's so nervous. Wants more ideas how to get the word out to vote for her and Dennis. She confided to me some of the things they have been through and they are still together, she like me has decided to take these trials in life and relationships and make it a part of a stronger relationship. And her daughter is just crazy about Dennis and really can't wait for them to get married.

Spread the word, email all your friends, this one is for real! And if you read all the stories, Helen and Dennis is the one that stands out as the couple that is truly commited to each other and really want this.

Oh and yes, those are HORRIBLE shots of the couples except for the upper left one because she is so short that the pose actually works for them. IF Helen wins she only asks that we DO NOT vote for a certain photographer, I'll let you know because she was very unhappy with the session and the results.

Evidently the woman never heard of either having the person behind kneel on a stool or raising the person in front. *shudder*

Even an non-professional could have figured that one out

And Helen said, "YES! They can have some of the cake, I'll be happy to share!"

You can use Elmira Zip Code of 14901, if I remember correctly it only requires a first/last name and zip code. IF you win any of the prizes for the voters I can always pick it up for you and ship it to you if it's shippable (is that a word?). They will notify winners by email.
