Anyone know where I can get the absolute best price on a new "Canon EOS 1D Mark II Digital Camara Body Only" Gonna need one in 3 weeks or less.

you can get eh 1ds mark II for 8,000 body only lol
Try adorama.com, or bhphotovideo.com
B&H has a 1D body only for 4,500

I can recommend CanogaCamera.com. They will sometimes price match, and their reputation is IMO second to none. Been in business since 1959. BTW, your dpc screen name GUSTO certainly fits your choice of camera and the timetable you have for getting it. Good luck. |

Samys Camera - was offering some deals awhile back but you need to call them for a price.

If you call them, make sure you get their cost for shipping. I think that is one of the companies I called when I was looking for my 70-200 2.8 IS lens... I know they were on my list and I ended up not going with them. Whoever it was had a great deal on it, but wanted to charge me something like $350 for shipping.

Oh yeah, they are people to stay away from! I tried ordering something from them once and they called me to say that the accessories included from the manufacturer wouldn't be included with the camera they were selling but they would be happy to provide those things at a huge cost. Then they got borderline verbally abusive when I wanted to cancel the order. Crooks!

Stay away from these outfits!!! Scammers and thieves basically.
Check this about Royal camera.
Get it at B & H, they are selling it for $400 less than whatI paid back in May, they are selling it for $4099.95 which is the best price it's available at from a legitimate reputable store.
