Not bad - to me, anyway.
Very first votes were a 6. Started dropping. Keeps fluctuating up and down a minute bit.

What is really annoying is that it started off amazingly well, 7.4, then rapidly dropped to about 6.9 ..... usual sort of early voting pattern. I would then have hoped it would stabilise, but it has been gently dropping every time I look since :(

Going by the comments, if I had kept my original crop, I might be doing much better. I'm looking forward to posting that one after the challenge. I don't think I've had so many comments, so early on, especially with an average score such as this.

Hard for me to feel much better about this. I've climbed a little over the last day or so, and I have seen an awful lot of really interesting shots while voting, and am left slightly amazed by (but happy with) my score.

My earlier opinion stands: this was the challenge that was simultaneously the most fun and educational.

yeah, and I really cannot stand cat pictures. Should have a challenge: your cat (no, not your best pussy photo :) would cause to much confusion) so people can get this out of their system and stop annoying me.

what i said was it was 5.72 at night...meaning before i went to sleep (10:00pm)...when i woke up it was down once again...

I'm gonna get the last place this time =) Although i knew it was coming, tried to be original. Getting very helpful comments like 'yuck' and 'i am confused'... Although a few from people that get it too.

Interestingly, the bw entry which i like is doing 3 points worse than the heroes shot towards which i don't have any special feelings at all, that was a single snapshot, not even a thought out picture. *shrug* i don't think i will ever get it... although that's not really my goal.

Well, I just dropped .3 in one vote due to some clown questioning whether my photo was black & white or not. Funny since I did not create a duotone image.

Look out everyone who's photo is not quite black & white enough, you're going to get a "1" too apparently.
