		| I hate this...can't decide which of three to submit. I had one all picked out and it's really nice and simple but then I went out today and got a few nice photos -- I was really hoping to catch something for heroes, but that seems like it's gonna be a really hard one for me anyway. |

I know...I wish I could post one I took back in September. Alas...
I need to get out there and start actively participating instead of wishing I could post one I've already taken. |

		| I have a dumb question. Are you allowed to convert a color photo to B + W, or does it have to come that way out of the camera? (Sorry for my ingnorance, first B + W challenge.) Thanks, Ray |

it can be converted to b/w on the computer. Some people, like myself, dont have the option of taking a b/w picture directly from the camera.

		| Thanks for your help. It's good news since I already converted a color shot to B+W and submitted it! :) |

		| It's hard to decide. I had one all picked out and submitted then I changed it. Now I don't know if I should switch back or not...so I'm just leaving it. "Indecision" haha |

I went out and took about 50 different photographs for the B&W challenge and ended up submitting the first picture I took. It̢۪s a different type of picture than I usually take but I really like it, so I hope it does well.

This was my entry, but I wimped out at the last moment, because I figured people wouldn't get it/would take offense to it. Oh well. What's ironic is that my current entry is the antithesis of this, exactly what I was satirizing. Haha.

I wish you luck though! I always like to try new things (and unfortunately, that is reflected in my score) :-p |

I know what you mean but i liked the shot and it had everything the challenge details wanted so I can just sit back and hope for the best.

Go for it if you like it!

 Here's my outtake - - -

I will be submitting a more serious image. This one was a "different" one that i liked but I was pretty sure it would be voted down for various reasons. I also like my submission btw :)

With my voting scale I would of classified it as meeting the challenge and a good photograph with means I would of scored it a 6 or 7. You can click on my voting scale to see how I vote.

		| I can't decide either. I like all of my shots, but don't feel any of them will do very well.. I waited until the last minute pretty much (today) to start shooting, as I've been busy, but I'm not feeling good today, so my options are pretty significantly narrowed. I ended up with pictures that *I* like, but DPCers aren't going to dig. Too bad I don't live in a city for some nice street candids; I have a feeling there are going to be some great ones of those :) |

		| i have a photograph i like...but i feel it won't do well, but if i don't submit i'll feel like it could have done well, and with so many entries it probably won't..still have a couple of hours left to decide...grrr |
