Two weeks ago I got a copy of America 24/7 Pennsylvania Edition and I didn't remember if you got a copy of it just for participating or not so I didn't get to excited til today that is. I had glanced through the book when it came and then tucked it away on my bookshelf.
Well, I just received my copy of Adobe Photoshop Elements and a letter stating I had photos used in the book.
Well ya know I did what anyone would do and I went racing through the book again to find my photo...I not only found one photo but THREE photos they used of mine. Two are on page 135 and the other one is on page 138...I'm still in a bit of shock over it...but what can I say I'm published in America 24/7.
Anyhow I submitted the photos just like they said...straight from the camera and it appears they did a little dodging and burning and adjusting the curves.
These are the photos they used of mine...

| Wow -- congratulations! I thought they were supposed to tell you a long time ago if they were going to use your pictures. Maybe there's more "surprises" coming. It would be "interesting" if a DPC member gets into each book. |

Paul I was the idiot who thought oh cool a copy of the book took a quick glance and tucked it away. Then today when Photoshop Elements came I got the surprise of my life when I went back through and found 3 of my photos in the Our Town section...LMAO no wonder I missed them totally too. They were on two pages with captions about Philidelphia and Altoona is on the other side of the state.

| Congrats on becoming published. I just came back from Sam's club tonight where I was thumbing through Nebraska's 24/7. I was thinking how this would make a neat holiday gift. Your Pennsylvania family and friends now have a celebrity amongst them. :-) Thanks for sharing.... |

See!!! Open my big mouth and what just arrived at my door!? PSE III!! BUT it is for Windoze, dammit!! That helps someone running a Mac. Wonder if I can trade it. Wouldn't mind putting it on my laptop (less processor intensive than CS).
Now I want an Nikkor 80-200mm f2.8 zoom lens and a SB800! (see if those show up at the door now). (C:
