I've tried it and prefer the ease of use of Noise Ninja.

Just got it.
Never used it before.
So far I'm impressed by it.

Here's a neat imaged and a non neat image version of a few of my photos for comparison.

If anyone has any NI tips, it would be appreciated.

Eric - both instances I prefer your originals.

You've demo'd this on shots that simply don't need the help. It's what I hate about this software - makes everything featureless and super-smooth (see the jeans) when used to excess.

Thanks, I agree. I never used it before, and got carried away. It totally ruined the jeans in this instance, but I am somewhat pleased with the effect on her legs. I need to mess with it more to see what the limits are and figure out what does and does not need help with noise. It kinda gives it a strange plastic feel. Some photos, maybe not many though. I'll figure it.

Still prefer Noise Ninja (still free for now). I use it mainly on landscape images for the sky when there seems to be a bit too much noise.
and I agree with the plastification. Doesn't look right. Not sure if you can do it selectively with NI like NN (is a plugin).
