#3 is definite a great studio shot. The contrast, tones, and the feeling of the composition is very good. Great catch light in the eyes. Best of the bunch.
#6 has the National Geography feeling to it.

First,
#1 links me to 1.jpg
#2 links me to 2.jpg
#3 links me to 3.jpg
#4 links me to 5.jpg
#5 links me to 6.jpg
#6 links me to 4.jpg
just so you know which image is which on your links.
Second, they are all very good images and very interesting. As snapshots, they all work very well.
5.jpg & 6.jpg are intertesting, but with the men leaning over, it gives it an unnatural feel. It is better to have the men sit or the child stand on a stool. Also 6.jpg the girls hair is covering part of the woman's face. Great focus.
4.jpg seems slightly blurry and the dark background makes it hard to distinguish the outline of her head beacause of her black hair.
1.jpg, 2.jpg, and 3.jpg are the best images. 1 & 3 are wonderful studio shots, with 3 being what I would consider a superior photo. The look in the eyes is wonderful.
2 just shows alot of the warmth and love between father and daughter (I assume). It seems natural.
Good job on all of the photos. They are all good and they are all keepers. You have a beautiful family.

I don't know why you are calling these "snaps" they are excellent.
#4 may be improved if you darken the bright background on the left, #6 looks a little dark and flat. |
