The challenge descriptions now have a date as part of the ruleset name, e.g.:
Member Challenge: Heroes
Rules: Advanced Editing (Apr 25, 2004)
Submission: Nov. 8th - Nov. 14th
Submissions: 18
View Details and Submit
Open Challenge Open Challenge: Black & White II
Rules: Basic Editing (Jul 7, 2004)
Submission: Nov. 10th - Nov. 16th
Submissions: 86
View Details and Submit
Cool, I suppose that helps when the rules change, so we can refer to the exact rules that were applied to the image. However, the rules page only lists advanced rules right now! Maybe the SC is rewriting the basic rules??
I wonder what changes they're making, and I hope I don't have to refer to the rules while working on my entry... or maybe the page will be fixed soon. |

Can't find the Basic rules. Perhaps they are being revised as we speak.

Ok, if you click on the 'Basic Editing (Jul 7, 2004)' link on the front page, you can see the rules. Thanks Kylie, I forgot about that. :-) They just don't get listed on the main challenge rules page. |

| The page that opens when you click Challenge Rules, the bottom item on the drop down menu under Challenges in the nav bar, does not have the Basic rules. I thought there used to be a link there for Basic just as there is now for Advanced. |

This is definitely a bug and has been reported to the admins. My guess is they are tweaking that page and either haven't finished, or made a mistake.

Fixed, the link to the Basic rules is back on the Challenge Rules page. It is marked as revised on 11-12-04 but the art rule is still different than in the Advanced rules and I don't think the border rule has been changed. What were the Nov 12 `04 revisions? Will the art rule for both rule sets be made to read the same?
