Being it's almost Veterans Day, and I just got a tripod today. I decided to try out some night shots at our local Veterans Memorial.

The first pic is a little busy - a shame about the building - is there a different viewpoint that would allow you to concentrate on the colourful water? A shame too that the 3 colours of water are different heights.

I feel too that shot 2 could lose the tree and some of the black space at the bottom of the pic. Any moonshots you can add in to give some interest in the sky?

Just some thoughts for next year.
