You have created some great affects here.
My only comment would be to try reducing the opacity on the animals as I have a feeling it may make it look more as if it's actually painted on the tiles JMO of course. I think I'd be tempted to remove the grass as well.
By the way I'm not critizing I think you've done a brilliant job

When i saw the thumbnail I though these were baseball bats lol.
The image is very soft and easy on the eye, and I think the overlay has given it a nice old world rural feel if that makes sense
