The Canyonby mathyouComment: When I see shots like this I feel that they could really benefit from a black and white or duotone (or even tri or quad) treatment. While the color of the sky pops, the detail of the canyon looks a bit bland. I think black and white, more contrast, and perhaps a tigher less centered crop could really make this pop. |

Solitudeby Mr_MojorisinComment: By converting to black and white the noise in the sky really stands out, and the centered composition here just isn't exciting. Not enough separation and contrast in this image to make the eye really investigate the details. Keep trying! |
