A landscape (unless it is a really potent, excellently executed landscape) still needs a subject to be a good photograph. This by itself, while a nice peaceful scene, needs that subject to make it pop...

The underexposure here really detracts from the shot. Trouble is, I don't have any idea how I would go about exposing this properly. I'm sure the ducks and swans were not about to cooperate and hold a pose for 2 or 3 seconds...

Your focus is a little too shallow. I don't know about the blown out white fuzziness on the left of the frame. Your black background has enough detail in it to be distracting. If you are gonna do a studio set up type shot like this you need to get all the details just right. After all you get to shoot it over and over again. It is digital! ;-)

The shallow crop top to bottom makes this feel a little tight. Nice idea for a shot though. Would have been cool if all the flip flops matched up with the nail polish.
