Very nice! Wish the silhouette were a touch sharper but that's a sniglet. How did you light the background? Painting with light?

Oooh that would suck! :-P I don't understand why you chose the selective desat for this though, the red tones in the middle of the blue water should been enough to draw your eye right to the subject...

Not bad! Nice job of not being in a noticably in a reflect! Could use just a touch more DOF so the tire was better in focus. I woulda cloned out the tire weight but that's just me.

Great capture! Love the kid and the catchers expressions! Too bad you didn't have either a touch more motion blur in the ball or a frozen in time ball...

Too soft, too processed also. Your sky doesn't match the reflection in the water which is a big distraction for me. You should try moving the horizon up or down a touch so it's not on the center line but closer to the thirds. Too bad you had such a bald headed sky. Not sure how it fits into the title...
