Zinedine and Williamby jjbeguinComment: LOL... The most captivating part of this pic is the girl staring into the camera! I would have tried to crop out the lone knee at the bottom of the shot but that's a sniglet! Nice capture. Love the girl looking back!

Portal to Heavenby HollywoodComment: From the Critique Club:
First of all, let me say welcome back! Don't know what kept ya out of challenges for so long, but looking forward to what future challenges hold for you. That said...
This looks like it has huge potential. I hope it is in your home or a place that you can visit easily at any time. I love the potential that this shows. Imagine shooting through this during one of the sunsets that covers the whole sky in blood red. Or a lighting bolt runing through the scene. Or the moon lighting up the really dramatic whispy clouds... See what I mean?
Now take a look at what you have here. It's a window with some clouds. There is nothing to hold the viewers interest. No drama so to speak. It's just a window. And it's not shot straight. You can tell this from the distortion of the rectangle. So while you have a good eye for a location and have found one with some potential, it just doesn't carry through in this image.
Yours

Big City Lights by scalvertComment: This is very nice! Not sure I would have included as much of the street, but it does add some character to the shot.

Flowby justin_hewlettComment: From the Critique Club:
Justin, I don't know what I can say about this shot that would improve it. You have spot on focus, DOF and your tones are fantastic! Love the shutter speed that you have chosen here. You have great flow through the shot. That's what I really like about good waterfall shots. The flow through the frame. You really nailed that here.
Why didn't this score better here? I think that is because waterfalls like kittens and flowers are so photogenic that they are easy to shoot. You see them all the time. This kinda makes the voter a little numb when they see them.
Great shot! Keep shootin...

Country Morn'by rayg544Comment: Very nice! Little dark, can't wait to see this with some processing! The dark kinda works though... Maybe you should leave it this way...
